The 12th Economic and Trade Minister’s Meeting among the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea and Japan was held on December 22, 2019 in Beijing, China. Minister Zhong Shan co-chaired the meeting with Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Kajiyama Hiroshi and South Korean Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Sung Yun mo. The Ministers of the three countries exchanged views on issues such as regional and multilateral cooperations including RCEP, China-Japan-ROK FTA, APEC, G20 and WTO, cooperation in e-commerce, connectivity, “China, Japan, ROK +” and energy, and jointly combat aging, and reached a series of consensus. After the meeting, the Ministers of the three countries jointly met the journalists and published the Joint Press Statement of the 12th Economic and Trade Minister’s Meeting among the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea and Japan.
